Organic soft ripened sheep's milk cheese from France. This soft cheese with a natural rind is handcrafted. It takes its name from the large poles used by the locals of the Vendée marshes to propel their boats. Pigouille's thin, slightly yellowish rind reveals a white, slightly grainy paste when cut. The flavor is fresh and round in the mouth and is very delicately acidic.
Ingredients: pasteurized organic ewe's milk, salt, lactic ferments, animal rennet. CONTAINS: MILK
