A smooth, creamy Derby cheese marbled with a delicate Sage infusion.
In the seventeenth century, the custom of adding sage (a herb valued at the time for its health-giving properties) to Derby cheese was begun. As the cheese aged, the savour of the herb was gradually incorporated.
Sage Derby ripens in one to three month and has a fat content of 45 percent.
Ingredients: pasteurized cow's milk, salt, vegetarian rennet, diary cultures, chlorophyll, dried sage. Contains milk

All cheeses we slice to order and wrap in cheese paper as we want you to enjoy original flavor of cheese - not damaged by vacuum or plastic.
All meats which require slicing we slice to order and lay it out on wax paper (deli-style) so it is easy to separate slices. Then we pack it in a plastic pouch with nitrogen purge (again, to make it easy to separate pieces we don't vacuum the meats).
