Brigante Italian Pecorino

Fratelli Pinna started making cheese in the early 1920's and is today perhaps the largest cheesemaker on the island. Each day fresh milk comes in to the plant from surrounding sheep and goat dairies whose animals graze on the indigenous grasses and herbs of this special place. Brigante is a young pasteurized pecorino aged only a few weeks before being released. It is semi-soft with mild milky flavors and nice citrus notes.
Ingredients: pasteurized sheep's milk, salt, rennet. CONTAINS: MILK
