Bread Cheese is a semi-firm baked cheese made from cow’s milk. Inspired by the Finnish leipäjuusto, it has been oven-baked until brown and crusty. This cheese is mild and flavorful, and was traditionally eaten warm after being dried. Also referred to as ‘squeaky cheese’ for the noise the fresh cheese makes when eaten.
