Jeff's Select Gouda

Jeff's Select Gouda made by Jeff Wideman and Jeff Jirik (Wisconsin/Minnesota) – A collaboration between two old friends, Jeff's Select was inspired after travels to the Netherlands, where they discovered their love for Gouda. Made from pasteurized cow’s milk in Wisconsin, rubbed with annatto and then finished in the warm sandstone caves of Faribault, Minnesota, this gouda is full-bodied with a classic European nuttiness and smooth caramel note on the finish. Initially sharp and salty, it melts in your mouth, finishing both creamy and sweet.

Unlike most young Goudas, this cheese develops a natural rind during the cave aging process, so it is not covered in wax.

Ingredients: pasteurized part-skim cow's milk, salt, enzymes, annatto (for color). CONTAINS: MILK

We ship perishable items in thermo-insulated cardboard boxes with reusable ice packs to insure that you food items arrive in good shape.

All cheeses we slice to order and wrap in cheese paper as we want you to enjoy original flavor of cheese - not damaged by vacuum or plastic.

All meats which require slicing we slice to order and lay it out on wax paper (deli-style) so it is easy to separate slices. Then we pack it in a plastic pouch with nitrogen purge (again, to make it easy to separate pieces we don't vacuum the meats but use commercial style food grade inert gas mix).


CALIFORNIA: Monday - Thursday. Cut off time for orders is 3.30 pm PST.

OUTSIDE OF CALIFORNIA: Monday - Wednesday. Cut off time for orders is 12.30 pm PST. 

Note that the shipping method (for example, overnight) doesn't mean that your order will be processed and shipped on the same day you placed the order. Generally, allow us at least one day for processing your order.

Any US federal holidays may delay the shipment. 


Saturday delivery is not available at the moment.
