Ricotta Salata

This ricotta starts off with fresh sheep’s milk whey, which is pressed, salted and then aged to achieve its firm texture and briny taste. Similar to feta, Ricotta Salata is excellent crumbled on top of salads, antipasto or used in dishes like pasta alla norma.    

Aged for 20 days.

Ingredients: pasteurized sheep's milk, whey, salt. CONTAINS: MILK.
