Product of Italy.
Not all Parmigiano is created equal. We have three cheeses for you to sample and see which is your new favorite!
The board includes: Grana Padano, Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, and Parmigiano Reggiano DOP Disolabruna.
Grana Padano is an Italian hard cheese, similar to Parmigiano Reggiano but milder and less crumbly. It has a grainy texture with a nutty, buttery flavor. Made from partially skimmed cow's milk, it's lower in fat than many cheeses. It has less strict guidance when comes to production.
Parmigiano Reggiano DOP - The most famous hard cheese from Italy. Parmigiano Reggiano DOP is known for its granular texture and nutty, savory flavor. It has more regulation and has DOP Status still this is a mass production.
Parmigiano Reggiano DOP Disolabruna - Parmigiano Reggiano made solely from the milk of Brown cows (Bruna Alpina). They are only four dairies that constitute the Consorzio di Sola Bruna, which is dedicated to producing Parmigiano Reggiano solely from the milk of Brown Cows.
