Schnebelhorn made from raw cow’s milk gathered from a 50 cow herd of Brown Swiss and Braunvvien. Schneblehorn is a cream added cheeses aged for 8-9 months. It is richer and more decadent that most of the cheeses from this region. Named after the region’s highest peak, Schnebelhorn stands out for its elaborate texture and flavor characteristics. Consistently, Schnebelhorn has a forthcoming spiciness perfectly balanced by tremendous butter and cream. Great as a snack or in Alpine fondue.

Schnebelhorn pairs well with a Reisling, Gewürtztraminer, or a hoppy fresh IPA

Ingredients: raw cow's milk, salt, starter culture, rennet. CONTAINS: MILK

We ship perishable items in thermo-insulated cardboard boxes with reusable ice packs to insure that you food items arrive in good shape.

All cheeses we slice to order and wrap in cheese paper as we want you to enjoy original flavor of cheese - not damaged by vacuum or plastic.

All meats which require slicing we slice to order and lay it out on wax paper (deli-style) so it is easy to separate slices. Then we pack it in a plastic pouch with nitrogen purge (again, to make it easy to separate pieces we don't vacuum the meats but use commercial style food grade inert gas mix).

CALIFORNIA: Monday - Thursday. 

OUTSIDE OF CALIFORNIA: Monday - Wednesday. 

Note that the shipping method (for example, overnight) doesn't mean that your order will be processed and shipped on the same day you placed the order. Generally, allow us at least one day for processing your order as we slice and wrap everything by hand to order.

Any US federal holidays may delay the shipment.

Nice cheese - good substitute for Gruyere

We enjoyed the Schnebelhorn - it seemed rather similar to Gruyere, so we substituted it in a fondue and were quite pleased with the result.

Amazing Swiss Cheese

More people should know about Schnebelhorn. It's incredibly tasty. Great Swiss cheese. I made a cheese board recently for my friends and everybody loved this one.
