Beecher’s seasonal Yule Käse cheese is distinctive take on Beecher’s Flagship Reserve that is inspired by the holiday season.
To make this celebratory cow’s milk cheese, it is first clothbound and open-air aged for 13 months resulting in a firm cheese with a natural rind. The truckle is further aged in red wine and local, unfiltered raw blackberry honey.
Yule Käse has complex flavors of honey-kissed caramel, with undertones of red berries and earthy saltiness.
This award-winning cheese makes a lovely addition to any festive cheese plate or holiday salad. It’s sophisticated and fruity flavors pair well with Riesling and Gewurtztraminer.
